Zhafarina Ungku is the Founder and Managing Director at Generation Invent Ltd. Zhafarina leads the organization and is responsible for the growth, recruitment solutions, outsourcing, strategic development and financial performance of the company’s multiple service lines and clients throughout United Kingdom, across Europe and South East Asia.
Zhafarina started her career as a technical recruiter in 2008 and she has continued to expand her role into various areas of leadership and entrepreneurship. In 2010 Zhafarina formed a recruitment consultancy company Zungku Consultants Ltd and worked very closely with Morson International until the end of 2012. Zhafarina envisioned of creating a recruiting firm that focuses solely in the development of employees who she believe plays a critical part in ensuring the growth of a business. She then formed Generation Invent in June 2012 to replace Zungku Consultants Limited with this new aim. The business has since seen a splurge of growth in terms of its clients, employees and contractors.
Zhafarina is a graduate of the University of Manchester’s Institute of Science and Technology with an honours degree in Mechatronic Engineering. Her in-depth knowledge within the technical and engineering sector has proven to be invaluable asset in her recruitment expertise. Zhafarina is experienced in business development and marketing throughout her career as a Recruitment Consultant engaging with multiple business activities that include managing Best Tailor Ltd, iFresco Technologies and marketing consultants to many firms that include LoveFilm, NetFlix, etc. She is currently engaged with a non-profit organisation ‘Samaritans’ Manchester.
Kirsty Hidderley
Kirsty HidderleyCreative Director
Kirsty Hidderley is the Creative Director at Generation Invent Ltd. She is responsible for ensuring the implementation, management and ongoing delivery of human capital and creative services to Generation Invent’s largest national and international accounts. In this role, Kirsty brings her executive sales, creative directorate and marketing and management experience to provide innovative human capital solutions to the many industries that Generation Invent serves.
Kirsty started her career with Generation Invent (formerly known as Zungku Consultants Ltd) in 2010 as a creative and marketing advisor and then moved into an account management role to start Generation Invent’s creative staffing division. In 2012, Kirsty was promoted to a regional business development role to help expand Generation Invent’s creative staffing service offering.

Kirsty is currently pursuing a degree in History and Social Science to further develop her understanding of the relationship between socio-economic and business growth and development.

Athens Mazhani
Athens MazhaniFinance Account Manager

Athens Mazhani started her career at Generation Invent in December 2012. Athens specialises in the Finance sector and industry, managing multiple accounts that are crucial to the growth of Generation Invent. Given the quality-candidate-short market within the UK Finance verticals, Athens has been able to differentiate and contribute towards Generation Invent’s delivery capability with his qualitative and headhunting based approach to the preferred local contingency recruitment market.

Athens started her career within the teaching industry for over a decade and decided to pursue a different path where she eventually ventured into recruitment. Her talent proved that she not only belong within this field but her perseverance is what makes her one of the most valuable team member within the company. 

Athens graduated from the University of Manchester with a teaching degree. She then attained a Masters within Corporate Finance with no less than a distinction in her class.

Janek Ledwon
Janek LedwonTechnical Recruitment Manager

Janek Ledwon started his career at Generation Invent in December 2012 as a Technical Recruitment Manager. Janek’s expertise knowledge in Control Systems Engineering proved to be an invaluable asset for his career in Technical Recruitment within the IT, Engineering and Environmental Science Industries where he successfully delivered contingent and retained search assignments across the Europe since 2010. 

Janek has previously engaged as a Control Systems Specialist working as a technical consultant to a highly reputable technology company in the UK. Janek takes pride in balancing the extensive commercial network and contacts he has developed over the years with his technical expertise and intimate knowledge of the market to deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions and maintaining strong relationships with employer of choice and quality candidates.

 

Janek has achieved an outstanding Masters in Science from the reputable Conventry University in Advance Control Systems and also graduated with an honours masters degree from Loz University in Poland studying and researching Automatic Systems and Robotics.

 

Jack Madison
Jack MadisonWeb Developer

Jack Madison joined Generation Invent in late 2012 as our Web Developer and IT manager. Jack oversees the reliability and growth of the IT and Development departments. He plays a crucial part in ensuring that all communication systems are running smoothly to conform to ensure that Generation Invent delivers the highest standard of customer service to its clients and candidates alike.

Jack has been working professionally within the IT industry for over 10 years as a software engineer, software architect and project manager and has in-depth knowledge in regards to software development and database management.

Jack obtained his honours degree in Software Engineering from the prestigious Imperial College London. He has also completed numerous Microsoft development certificates such as MCSE and MCSD.

Charles Wharf

Charles Wharf joined Generation Invent in 2012 as a Technical Recruitment Specialist and immediately expanded the Engineering sector within the company. Charles’ success is built around the relationships he forms with candidates and clients alike. His detailed understanding of each role, the part that plays in the business and the motivations of the employee allow him to find the right person first time.
Having worked for the two of the largest specialist recruitment agencies in the world, Charles has experience and in depth knowledge in Engineering & Manufacturing, Project Management and Health & Safety.
Charles graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with an honours degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
Harry Morrison

Harry Morrison is the European Account Manager of Generation Invent. He is responsible for managing the sales, operations and strategic direction of offices across Europe.. Harry serves as Generation Invent’s expert in professionals within finance sector staffing.
Harry joined Generation Invent in 2012 as a technical recruiter in Generation Invent’s Manchester office. He later moved into a sales role and shortly after became a sales manager. Harry was promoted to his current executive leadership position in 2013 as Business Account Manager of the European region.
Harry is a graduate of University of Manchester achieving an honours degree in Business and Project Management.
Michael Crissy

Michael Crissy joined Generation Invent in 2012 as the company’s Business Manager, responsible for leading and managing the Accountancy & Finance support team as well as providing comprehensive recruitment solutions for a range of key clients across the UK. He has created and retained long lasting relationships with both SME’s and PLC businesses across the region and has supported a high number of talented individuals in moving their careers forward.
Michael has over 8 years dedicated experience in recruiting permanent accountancy and finance professionals, ranging from entry level, ledger clerks and graduates through to part qualified accountants. Michael is an experienced industry speaker, giving talks at local universities to provide industry and career guidance to the students as well as being a regular guest speaker at annual meetings for the Institute of Credit Management. Michael has managed to build and establish a solid reputation in the industry as a thorough and successful recruiter and prides himself on the shortlist he provides to his clients and also the carefully thought out job opportunities he presents to candidates.
Michael is a graduate from the prestigious London School of Economics achieving an honours degree in Business and Economics.

Jessica joined Generation Invent back in 2012 as the company’s Accounts and Payroll Manager. Jessica processes all permanent and temporary payrolls in-house. Her wide range of experience within blue chip companies processing and developing payroll system has proven to be a valuable asset to the company and our clients alike.
Prior to Generation Invent, Jessica spent many years working for a large national payroll company. Her meticulous personality, expertise and knowledge in the field ensures that all Generation Invent’s temps are paid correctly and in-time.
Jessica graduated with an HND in Finance and Accounting from Manchester College.
Stuart Dolores
Stuart DoloresEngineer Recruitment Manager
Stuart joined Generation Invent in 2012 and leads the company as the Engineering Recruitment Manager specialising in the staffing of professionals within the engineering sector. His expertise lies in recruiting engineering, operational and technical staff from supervisory to Director level appointments. Working nationally, Stuart has provided strategic recruitment solutions to blue chip clients with multi-site production facilities as well as local SMEs and specialist manufacturers.
Stuart has 8 years’ experience in the recruitment of specialist and interim personnel within the FMCG sectors with particular emphasis on the automotive industry. Stuart has a detailed understanding of the diverse range of sectors in the FMCG market including industry standard qualifications and legislation that are vital to each. He is able to source and identify candidates from around the UK with the calibre and cultural fit required in order to deliver the best recruitment solution you.
Stuart is a graduate of University of Bristol achieving an honours degree in Food Manufacturing and Sciences.

Anna joined Generation Invent in 2012 as the Oil & Gas Recruitment Manager. Anna has been a specialist in Oil and Gas recruitment consultant for over 6 years with a wealth of industry knowledge and success in the sector. Anna believes in building relationships and delivering high quality recruitment solutions. Anna has been successful in enabling SME and Blue Chip clients to identify candidates that add real value to their business and teams within engineering, manufacturing and technical disciplines. Her attention to detail and the grasp of the process, products and service her clients provide enable him to deliver a tailored and expert service throughout the recruitment cycle.
Anna continually assists other experienced consultants within Generation Invent in the growth of the company’s Oil and Gas division. With over 8 years combined team experience specifically in the recruitment of Operational and Technical roles makes Oil and Gas division one of the most technically experienced recruiting teams in the region.
Anna is a graduate from Lancaster University achieving honours degree in Environmental Sciences.
